About Me
"The wound is the place where the Light enters you." —Rumi
Hello, and welcome. I’m so glad you’re here. Whatever has brought you to therapy, you’ve taken a deeply courageous step toward growth and transformation. I hold it as a sacred honor and privilege to accompany you on this journey.
I believe therapy is a collaborative dance between therapist and client, so my hope is to co-construct with you a space for us to do this work together. Together, we explore with curiosity and compassion the various ways in which your past and current relationships, privilege and oppression within our culture, and the particularities of your identity and experiences impact your capacity to show up in relationship with yourself and navigate your world. Much of our work is to broaden your own imagination for your life– here, what has been expands into what still could be.
In times of acute crisis, I may bring in skills work around emotional regulation and distress tolerance, as appropriate. As a queer, enby, biracial therapist myself, my practice centers a liberatory, anti-oppressive stance that fully celebrates and supports Queer, Trans, and BIPOC lives and needs.
Education and Training
I hold a Master’s of Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology (2020). My prior clinical experience includes milieu and group therapy with young adults (clinical internship) and individual therapy with an anti-opressive, intersectional feminist mental health collective that centers the QTBIPOC community. I work with adult individuals; and particularly those who are LGBTQ+ and/or BIPOC. My areas of clinical interest include attachment; chronic illness/medical trauma; grief; identity formation as relates to gender, sexuality, and/or race; and religious trauma. I uphold a commitment to my own growth as a clinician through ongoing training, consultation, and supervision. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC; #LH61465701).
Fees
Individual Psychotherapy: $150/session
Note: If you would like to work with me and this rate is a financial barrier, please reach out for a free 20-minute consultation to discuss your situation. As a commitment to those in need of psychotherapy yet unable to pay the full fee, I offer a limited number of spots at a lower fee; these spots are dependent on client circumstance and current caseload. Priority is given to QTBIPOC individuals.
I am not in network with any insurance providers; that said, I am able to provide you with a superbill to send to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement.
